Problems Running Crossfire On Windows Vista

Hello all. I use Windows Vista operating system, and I was wondering how many of you also use it. I have numerous problems running crossfire on it, and I'm curious if i am the only one. Basically, I have long loading times, crossfire randomly shuts off during a load screen, freezing and then quiting out, a box that says some random error message and then closes crossfire, and numerous other problems. I have noticed that GameBooster does seem to help a little with the load times for rooms, but not with ping or anything.

Please respond if you also have problems running crossfire on windows vista, or have any helpful ideas.

I run on vista,yes i have problems too.Before the patch it was a long loading time,that is all tho.

Oh yea,also after this new patch,once i'm done playing a game,and it shows the stats,Everything is BLACK!!!!What happening,i'm gonna make a video of it and,send in a support ticket.After it is black,it shuts off and says "crossfire.exe is not working properly." I mean DUH I KNOW THAT

Yes, i believe this is what people have been referring to for the last months as "the black screen". I get it occasionally, but not after everygame. And yes, i am very pleased that this new patch has greatly increased the loading times. I believe the black screen is a problem many have had since before the patch came out. It happened to me several times b4 it.

ya your right, that error message happen to me too... It pi$$ me off too. That's what ruin my Honor and turn it bad. Your not alone.
